This is the most recent „toy“ I’ve got from Moravian Instruments to have a look at:
Actually, I just wanted to check the basic functionality of this soon-to-be-released CMOS camera as I am known for having a bad-luck for every new thing. If there’s a bug, I will face it I have found only one and that was fixed by now. Due to total lack of time (and recent injury of my shoulder) I became unavailable to do any AP in recent month(s). Therefore I was happy that a friend of mine, Martin Myslivec, can test the camera under a clear sky. I am personally looking forward to the cooled series of C2/C3 cameras that is expected to come in next year(s)
Tested the readout noise of this uncooled camera and found it to be ~2e-. The linearity of the light response seems completely perfect.
